CAII – Dull Sky Pic

Here are some before and after pictures of a dull sky. We used several methods to do this assignment including channels, layers, filters, and different color panels.

Miami Car Retouched

In this assignment we worked in GIMP 2 to retouch this picture of a Miami car. We worked with levels (curves), color/tonality correction, rotation, cropping, image compression, hue/saturation, and more to retouch this image. This is the final retouched picture.

Blue FJ Cart

Before: In CAII, we have been working in GIMP. Our assignment was to take the above picture and remove the words using only the tools in GIMP.

After: This is the picture of what the cart looks like without the words. I removed the words using just a few tools in GIMP. I used the clone, heal, blur, and smudge tools to make the picture appear as if the words were never there.

Multicolor Eyes

We have been working with GIMP in CAII to multicolor eyes.
